I am thankful for...

This is my first post on LAist, so I just want to start out by saying I'm thankful for Tony Pierce inviting me to contribute to the site based off of the WGA strike photos I've been sending him.
Speaking of photos, I'm very thankful that the scary drugged out clown (pictured above) didn't attack me when I got "all up in his clowny grill" and snapped that picture at Tuesday's rally on Hollywood Blvd.
I'm thankful for my beautiful fiancee, Johanna, for putting up with my raging temper, my crippling procrastination, and my hairy back. I promise I'll cowboy up and get it waxed one of these days.
I'm thankful for video games that let rock fans pretend that they're rock musicians. Especially those that come with wireless guitars so I can jump on my couch and rock out some nasty Pete Townshend windmills.
I'm thankful for the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, where learned how to do what I do, got my chops, met the special lady I mentioned above, and basically acquired all of my best friends.
And finally, I'm thankful for my family, who raised me right...or raised me wrong enough for me to become a comedy writer instead of a doctor or a lawyer.
