The knives are out for our stupid (and, at this moment, quite possibly dirty - dude loves the outdoors) Education Secretary over his offensive comment to a six year-old girl. Riordan's apology fell on deaf ears - the NAACP as well as others have called for his resignation. The always energetic forum kiddies at Eschaton hammer him here. And Kevin Roderick thinks he's probably toast. LAist is a little surprised that this story is lasting so long, but that's probably because he's not a father. Click around a little and check out the various parents commenting over at LAO. They look pissed!

Poor Dicky. He'll never be able to listen to Dylan's "Isis" the same way again.
