How Crazy is the Lakers Parade Traffic? Very!
Around 6 a.m. this morning, driving to the Coliseum was no big deal. The trouble for people, we're hearing, was when you arrived to the immediate area that traffic just was just a parking lot.
"[Police] were told that thousands of fans began gathering downtown at sunrise and that the L.A. Coliseum would be packed with revelers for the post-parade celebration," reported the LA Times, who said the department is on full tactical alert today.
Plenty of folks on Twitter are venting about the situation. "Traffic this morning sucked ass cuz everyone is headed to the Lakers parade in downtown," said user sn0monkey. "They're all gonna party and I have to work." Not to fear! NBC, KTLA, ABC and KCAL are all carrying it live on TV, according to our DTV schedule. The NBA Lakers website will also stream it live.
