In an e-mail from the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust, the institution informed the public that Siegfried Halbreich, 98, one of the original founders, has passed away. "He is survived by Ruth (his wife of 62 years), children Emily Tigerman and Jeremy Halbreich, daughter-in-law Nancy, and grandchildren Bobbye and Reg." A funeral is set for Sunday at Mt. Sinai. The musuem, which is located on Wilshire near San Vicente will be moving to a new space at Pan Pacific Park in 2010.
