Hey it's Veteran's Day

If traffic is light today it's because some of you get today off because of the holiday. Yes, we're jealous.

In observance of Veterans Day, government offices, courts, schools, libraries and banks will also be closed today.

Trash collection will continue its usual trashy schedule.

Support for LAist comes from

Post offices will be open today but will be closed on Saturday.

Metro buses and trains will run on a normal schedule as will Metrolink.
