He Bangs...Dudes! Singer Ricky Martin Comes Out of the Closet

"Today is my day, this is my time, and this is my moment," wrote singer Ricky Martin on his website today, in a heartfelt missive available in Spanish and English.

Noting that he has been working on writing his memoirs, Martin says he has arrived at his "truth" and can finally express his true identity without diminishing the love he has for his two sons and his loved ones.

"These years in silence and reflection made me stronger and reminded me that acceptance has to come from within and that this kind of truth gives me the power to conquer emotions I didn't even know existed," he continues.

The "truth," however, Martin saves for the end: "I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am." So, everyone, Ricky Martin is gay. Moving on...
