A man was caught on video allegedly attacking a fellow motorist on the 134 freeway in Glendale, all while three children were in his car.

Last Saturday afternoon at about 3:15 p.m., a man who was headed west on the 134 freeway recorded a video that appears to depict a bizarre and violent road rage incident. The anonymous witness told CBS Los Angeles that he began recording two cars in front of him—a 2010 Infiniti G35 and a Volkswagen Jetta—with his cell phone because he feared the two would crash.

The witness, who later posted the video to YouTube, said that the Infiniti driver attempted to cut off the Jetta, and then began screaming and throwing coins at the other driver. The Infiniti eventually maneuvers in front of the Jetta before suddenly slamming on his breaks. All three cars, including the person recording the video, screech to a stop. The Infiniti driver is then seen getting out of the car, approaching the driver's side of the Jetta, and reaching into the Jetta's open window. The witness claims that the Infiniti driver screamed at and hit the Jetta driver before jumping back in the Infiniti and driving away. The Jetta driver was not seriously injured in the attack, the L.A. Times reports.

The attacking driver was later identified as 35-year-old Dikran Gligoriu of Temple City, according to a release from CHP. Authorities say that Gligoriu had three children in the car with him at the time of the alleged attack. A complaint is currently being prepared to be filed with the L.A. County District Attorney's Office, with the recommended charges of assault and child endangerment.

This report comes on the heels of another video recorded in Glendale in which a driver appears to swerve towards a cyclist, and the arrest of a woman who allegedly swerved to hit a cyclist—also in Glendale.
