Nighttime Freeway Closures on the 10, 605 Freeways This Week
The 405 freeway may be headed to three years of this kind of stuff, but the 10 and 605 freeways are getting some love, too. A $175 million project, expected to debut in winter of 2012, will bring carpool lanes in each direction of the 10 Freeway between the 605 and Puente Avenue. Caltrans warning to expect lane, ramp and even some full freeway closures through Saturday morning, mostly along the 605 this week. Also, $165 million worth of pavement work on the 10 will prompt various lane closures from downtown to Boyle Heights and a little beyond. Full details for both projects are after below.

Nightly, Monday, January 4 to Thursday, January 7
· 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. - Northbound I-605 connectors to I-10.
· 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. - Southbound I-605 connector to eastbound I-10.
· 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. - Northbound I-605 Valley boulevard on-ramps.
Westbound I-10
· 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. - Up to 3 lanes from Puente Avenue to I-605.
· 11:59 p.m. to 4 a.m. - Full freeway closure from Puente Avenue to I-605.
· 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. - Connector to I-605.
· 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. - Frazier Street, Baldwin Park Boulevard and Francisquito Avenue on-
and off-ramps.
· 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. - Puente Avenue on-ramp.
Eastbound I-10
