Our June member drive is live: protect this resource!
Right now, we need your help during our short June member drive to keep the local news you read here every day going. This has been a challenging year, but with your help, we can get one step closer to closing our budget gap. Today, put a dollar value on the trustworthy reporting you rely on all year long. We can't hold those in power accountable and uplift voices from the community without your partnership.

The Valley will still always be the Valley. From Burbank to Chatsworth, horses are street legal in some parts.

"You don't often see horses on the street in Reseda, especially on a busy street like Tampa," wrote Robbie about this photo that he submitted to LAist Featured Photos pool on Flickr.

One of the best photo-worthy moments we have heard about was a few months ago in Chatsworth. "Two guys were riding bareback up Topanga Canyon Blvd. carrying a 12-pack of beer. It was so Chatsworth," a reader told us.
