Tax Day Relief: Discounts And Freebies In Los Angeles
If taxes are getting you down today, we've got some deals around town that will help take the edge off of this day. Cheap cocktails and cupcakes will help you forget about your sorrows—at least momentarily.

The kicked-up drink is made of gin, dry vermouth, sweet vermouth, orange and Angostura bitters.

Drink away your sorrows with these $1 cocktails at the following 1933 Group bars, all from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. (except for La Cuevita, which goes from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.). There is a 2 drinks per order minimum...which makes that $2; we're okay with that. However, there's a limited quantity of the drinks, so get there early. Consider this a tax refund if you didn't actually get one in real life. Wah wah.
