Share our Strength's Taste of the Nation is an annual event aimed at raising money to fight hunger. With over 60 cities in the U.S. and Canada participating, the event uses the power of sponsorship and the generous donations of participating chefs and restaurants to ensure that 100% of the ticket price goes to the cause. The Los Angeles event is Sunday June 5th, and has two levels of support aimed at giving donors a taste of the city and a day to rememeber.

Option One is for both the VIP Champagne Brunch & Tasting Event, and costs $150 per person. There are Noon and 1 p.m. seatings, which include an elegant brunch served in the historic Ivy Substation with patio seating, a preview of the Silent Auction, and full access to Tasting Event. Restaurants include Beacon, Bastide, Ford's Filing Station, Patina, and Valentino.

Option Two is the full Tasting Event, and costs $75 Per Person ($25 for ages 6-12). The event is from 1 to 5 p.m. and includes cocktails and fine wines, beautiful and bountiful foods, entertainment, and both a Live and Silent Auction. Strolling and Buffet Tasting restaurants include Border Grill, Ciudad, The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills, Chloe, Avenue, Dolce Enoteca, Firefly Bistro, Globe Restaurant, Frace, Granita, Hollywood and Vine, Hungry Cat, Jar, Jer-Ne, Joe's, Josie, Kiriko, Lincoln Steakhouse Americana, Loteria Grill, Norman's on Sunset, Pinot Bistro, Pinot Hollywood, Rocca, Table 8, Tiara Cafe, Traxx, Vicenti, Violet, Yi Cuisine, and Yu Restaurant and Lounge.
