Ready, Set, Yum: Eat My Blog Bakesale Happening Now

Stories like these are only possible with your help!
You have the power to keep local news strong for the coming months. Your financial support today keeps our reporters ready to meet the needs of our city. Thank you for investing in your community.

There's a little spot of hometown community do-gooding sweetness set up at the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Hancock in West Hollywood right now. It's Eat My Blog, the charity bakesale, and it's happening right now until 4 p.m. today.

Outside Tender Greens you'll find tables laden with individually wrapped homemade goodies prepared with love by some of the city's top bloggers. Oh, yes, there's bacon galore, and salted sweetstuffs, cupcakes and cookies, and even treats for your cat or dog. If you're already in the holiday spirit you'll appreciate some of the seasonal flavors and traditional treats that are filling the tables.

Dozens of bakers and confection makers are participating, having donated their time and their treats for the sale. All of the proceeds, every single cent, will go to the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank. So if you've got some cash and a sweet tooth, head to Eat My Blog today to get some goodies for a good cause.
