This Group Wants To Educate You About L.A.'s Great Pizzas (With Pizza Parties, Of Course)
Would you like to eat all the pizza? There's going to be an all-you-can-eat pizza party happening in downtown Los Angeles this weekend.
LA Pizza Society is hosting a pizza smorgasbord on Saturday at Prufrock Pizzeria at The Regent Theatre. For $22, you'll get a soda, a lesson on the art of pizza making and as many slices of pizza as you like from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., LA Weekly reports.
This is the third time the group has hosted such a pizza party. It's a great place for pizza enthusiasts to meet each other, and you're guaranteed to leave with a full stomach. Founder Mike Metz, a TV writer who blogs about food at Unemployed Eater, said he was inspired by numerous inquiries about where to find a great pizza in L.A.
"There seems to be a general misperception that all the pizza here sucks," Metz told LA Weekly. Metz doesn't agree, and feels that people just need to know where to go to get a good pie. Hence, the L.A. Pizza Society.
You can get your tickets here. To get you in the mood, take a look at L.A. Pizza Society's Instagram here.
