People all over the country fell in love with Alex's Lemonade Stand, a very grassroots campaign to raise funds to help tackle childhood cancer. Now Los Angeles is loving Alex's Lemonade, too, via a culinary event next Sunday that will feature local star chefs, plenty to eat and drink, some celebs, and the chance to help out a great cause while enjoying a great time.Hosted by Chef Suzanne Goin, Caroline Styne (Lucques, AOC, Tavern) and David Lentz, (The Hungry Cat) and Honorary Chair Jennifer Garner, L.A. Loves Alex's Lemonade will feature the eats of local chefs Neal Fraser (Grace, BLD), Tony Keene (Gordon Ramsay at the London West Hollywood), Breanne Varela (Tavern), Zoe Nathan (Huckleberry), Christina Olufson (Lucques), Nancy Silverton (Osteria Mozza), Giada De Laurentiis, and Lentz and Goin, as well as national star chefs like John Besh, Paul Kahan, Jonathan Waxman, and more.
Enjoy tunes by DJ Anne Litt of KCRW while hanging out on the lawn of the Culver Studios, sipping on great brews and spirits, and of course eating. Tickets for the event are $150 for General Admission or $350 for VIP Special Seating and After Party. All proceeds will benefit ALSF. [Buy online]
