It's FREE Cone Day At Ben & Jerry's
Fans of free ice cream should head over to Ben & Jerry's for their annual Free Cone Day.
It's just what it sounds like: stores all around the country will be offering up a free cone between noon and 8 p.m. today. Ben & Jerry's has been offering free cones every year since their first successful year in the ice cream biz in 1979. You can visit the Ben & Jerry's stores at Union Station, the Howard Hughes Center, in Burbank, Sherman Oaks Fashion Square, Santa Monica and Sherman Oaks Galleria.
If you check out the Union Station, you can also get a 10% discount on anything else you may want at Ben & Jerry's. All you have to do is show your TAP card. (In fact, you can do this on any given Tuesday.) And all the tips and donations at Union Station will be going to the LAUSD group Beyond The Bell that supports programs outside the regular school day, like after-school tutoring and Saturday school.
