Dave Danhi, of the Grilled Cheese Truck, left the wheels at home on Tuesday night and parked his mad melting skills inside the kitchen of Mark Gold's Eva Restaurant. The two friends—who worked together as chefs at the Water Grill 15 years ago—hosted a grilled cheese pairing fixe prix menu at the restaurant on Tuesday night.

Each chef created food items to complement the other's, including Danhi's Truffled Mac and Cheese Melt, along with Gold’s Butter Poached Lobster.

The special one-night only menu was the chefs chance to celebrate National Grilled Cheese Month (which we think should last all year long.)
