Our East Coast coffee and donut overlords, Dunkin' Donuts, are quickly making their mark through SoCal. And they've chosen a space for their next expansion in downtown L.A.

Downtown L.A.'s very first Dunkin' Donuts will be in a 2,000-square-foot space on the corner of 8th and Olive streets, DTLA Rising reports. Their new digs will just be a few blocks away from the ACE Hotel and restaurants like Bottega Louie.

The historic, over century-old building that the donut shop will be calling home is a bit run down but Dunkin' Donuts will be giving the building a major makeover. Construction hasn't started yet, but they're hoping to open it by the end of this year or early next year.

And hey, if walking over to 8th and Olive is a trek for you, don't worry, Dunkin' Donuts plan on opening a few more locations throughout downtown L.A. This is a just part of their big push for their Californian expansion, already landing locations in Santa Monica, Culver City and Hollywood.
