Chicken Soup for the LAist's Soul

We brought back from Gothamist territory the most heinous of all vacation souvenirs. No, not a Statue of Liberty foam crown, and, no, not a "Someone I Know Went to New York and all I got was this Lousy T-Shirt" shirt. We brought back a nasty cold/flu that has kept us bedridden since Saturday. This leaves us wondering, if Chicken Soup is thought to be the ultimate restorative food for the sick, where in LA do we go to get the best Chicken Soup? We've always been partial to good old Campbell's Hearty Chicken Noodle, found on the shelves of our local Vons. But what about take out from any one of the numerous delicatessens in town, like Canter's? Is there a pro/con argument for Matzo Balls in contrast with, say, noodles, or, rice? So, tell us, please, where you go in LA to get the best Chicken Soup to cure what ails you. And, also, would you mind bringing us some? We're in the 818, and we can't seem to leave our bed.
