The Hollywood location of the Hungry Cat turns 7 this Thursday and is celebrating with $1 oysters all day, and an all day long happy hour.
Bow & Truss Coming to NoHo Arts District
One year after launching The Federal Bar on Lankershim, Knitting Factory Entertainment has confirmed it will open its second eatery—Bow & Truss this May in North Hollywood. The restaurant will feature a tapas style Latin menu, a dossier of innovative craft cocktails and over 10 imported beers on draft.

With Spring around the corner, Eveleigh is now open for lunch on Fridays, from 11:30-2:30. Additionally, their Guest Bartender Series Round 3 has begun, with the back bar host to a new guest barkeep every Monday night.Race Over to Bigfoot Lodge for the Knotty Pinewood Derby on March 27
The Bigfoot Lodge in Los Feliz will be host to a monthly bar derby the last Tuesday of every month, starting March 27 at 9pm. Race kits will be sold at the bar so that everyone can compete for trophies, prizes and drinks. $5 pours of Jameson will also be offered.
"Fight For Foie" Dinner @Haven Gastropub in Pasadena
The seven-course pre-fixe dinner on March 12 at Haven Gastropub is a benefit to support humane and ethical farming. The evening will feature esteemed chefs Greg Daniels (Haven Gastropub +Brewery), Brendan Collins (Waterloo & City, Larry’s), Jordan Toft (Eveleigh), Vartan Abgaryan (Public Bar and Kitchen), David Coleman (Michaels on Naples), and Alex Reznik (La Seine) working side-by-side. The menu will provide diners with an opportunity to enjoy special preparations of foie gras, and 100% of the proceeds from the dinner will benefit The Coalition for Humane and Ethical Farming Standards (C.H.E.F.S.) with participating sponsor, Daniels Western Meatpackers. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (626) 768-9555. ($100/person + tax & tip)
New “Classics” Menu @ Oldfield’s Liquor Room in Culver City
The new menu at Oldfield's will feature forgotten and rare cocktails from as early as the late 1700’s and 1800’s. Open Monday through Sunday 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.
"Stein Club" Launching @Wirtshaus
The members-only beer club will open March 15 and will not carry a fee but will be granted to those who drink at least one pint of each of Wirtshaus' draft beers within a three-month period. Wirtshaus' Stein Club will only be open to 25 members who will receive a ton of pimp membership perks. Wirtshaus is also introducing new food deals during their Happy Hour(s), which are 3 PM - 6 PM, Monday through Friday. Happy Hour guests already enjoying deals on their beer and wine, can now accompany their drinks with 25% off any appetizer on the dinner menu.
