Family Of Four, Including Two Children, Found Dead In Suspected Murder-Suicide
Four family members—a mother, a stepfather, a 10-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl—were discovered shot to death in their Fontana home last night.
A 16-year-old family member called police to the scene of an apparent murder-suicide. Investigators told NBC Los Angeles that the woman and her children had been shot several times, while the man had one gunshot wound to the head. A handgun was found next to his body, ABC 7 reported. Police say they're not looking for any suspects.
The family lived in the 7300 block of Palmetto Avenue in Fontana, and some neighbors reported hearing a loud argument earlier and possible gunshots earlier in the evening. The shooting left them stunned. One neighbor told NBC L.A., "I'm just speechless, no words. How could you do that to kids?"
