Unless you live under a rock (and, if you do, hey, we don't judge) you probably know that Friday, April 29th is the big Royal Wedding, in which Britain's Prince William will marry longtime love, the lovely commoner Catherine "Kate" Middleton in a massive Westminster Abbey ceremony. The crowds of looky-loos and media outlets have been camped in London for days now, and the countdown is on to the nuptials. The world will be watching from afar, too, including here in Los Angeles. While the middle-of-the-night broadcasts are excellent DVR fodder for the less devoted, if you want to watch the wedding with friends and strangers, here are some places around town hosting viewing events.

Cat N' Fiddle
A Pajama party starts tonight at 10 p.m., with happy hour and a DJ. The wedding viewing begins at midnight; by 5 a.m. you'll be sipping coffee and watching the carriages leave. $20 (includes free food and drinks). Tickets.

The Fox and Hounds
Party in honor of Prince William, bachelor-style, with drinking and dancing starting Thursday night at 9 p.m. Head back at 11 a.m. Friday morning for champagne and cake. The ceremony will be shown all day on Friday, in case you need to sleep it off.

The Langham Hotel
Celebrate with Royal Tea in The Tap Room on Friday, April 29, 2011, 1-4 p.m. Watch news coverage of the nuptials and enjoy a selection of savory tea sandwiches, scones with Devonshire cream, fruit tarts, mousse torts, crème brûlées, a variety of the finest teas and Kir Royale cocktails. $59 per person. Reservations required, call (626) 585-6218.
