When Life Hands You Dildos, Make A Dildo Mobile (Photos)

We need to hear from you.
Today, put a dollar value on the trustworthy reporting you rely on all year long. The local news you read here every day is crafted for you, but right now, we need your help to keep it going. In these uncertain times, your support is even more important. We can't hold those in power accountable and uplift voices from the community without your partnership. Thank you.

After a Joshua Tree landlord evicted a tenant who had failed to pay rent for six months, they found a stash of dildos. The landlord did what any reasonable person would do: they made a mobile. This fantastic, Calder-inspired piece of art is selling for a mere $225 on Craigslist. As you can see, there are many types of dildos incorporated into the work: some realistic and veiny, some with testicles, a double-ender, some butt plugs and we think we even spy a set of anal beads swaying softly in the desert breeze. In all, the mobile contains ten total dildos.

You might be wondering why someone would part with something so precious, but the landlord has since moved. Their new landlord told them the dildo mobile must be removed from the common area in the garage, and it's too big and majestic to fit in their room.

As tempting as it might be to snatch this up and put it in your den, let's be frank: this really belongs in a museum.
