First, it was David Duchovny admitting he was a sex addict. Then a tunnel was found going from Mexico to a house in Calexico, CA. And that's when LAist readers became concerned.

If you remember last year, there was some Dexter viral marketing in Hollywood, but at least it was planned and not real. Before the season premiere, there were thirteen crime scenes (as seen above) in thirteen cities across the country. This year, we see that City Council passed a motion earlier today to allow uber creative marketing company Pop2Life the rights to do a display that could appear on Thursday, Friday or on both days on the north side of Hollywood Blvd. between Highland and Orange on the sidewalk and in the curb lane. We're curious to what fun this year will be.
