Sage Stallone's attorney George Braunstein has been painting a picture directly at odds with what law enforcement sources have been saying about Stallone's final hours.Unnamed law enforcement sources told TMZ that the body of Sylvester Stallone's son was discovered in his room surrounded by beer cans and pill bottles, suggesting that a possible cause of death could be an accidental overdose. Law enforcement sources estimated that Stallone was dead for three days and possibly as long as a week before his body was discovered by a housekeeper.

But Stallone's lawyer says this final image of Stallone doesn't match up with the Stallone he knew. He told People that Stallone didn't drink or do drugs. He said that there weren't any signs of what was to come last week: Stallone seemed content and was actually planning to get married to his girlfriend in Vegas this weekend.

As for the beer cans found in his room? Braunstein says they were actually Dr. Brown's Cream Soda. He added that Stallone hadn't been out of touch and couldn't have been dead as long as law enforcement sources estimate. He uploaded a picture to Facebook just 17 hours before his body was discovered.

"Sage was a really young, very sensitive, and very talented kid," Braunstein told People. "There has been no indication that there was anything wrong in his life."

A new report from TMZ says that Robert Rhine, an editor who met up with him months before for a photo shoot at his apartment, described Stallone as being pretty out of it. He said he was slurring his words and was definitely "on something." Rhine says when he heard the news that Stallone had died, he was sad but he wasn't totally surprised.

Rhine told TMZ, "What’s troubling is the fact that the people around him claim there were no signs. I saw the signs. When everyone from the shoot heard the news, none of us were surprised."

The coroner is conducting an autopsy on Stallone's body and is set to be completed today, The Daily Mail reports. However, it could be weeks before the toxicology reports come back and we learn the truth about what happened to Stallone.
