We already took you swimming for your video lunch, so why not stay in the water with this video from Los Angeles band Warpaint, which was shot in portion in the Echo Park Deep Pool.

The pool is one of the few indoor year-round pools operated by the City of Los Angeles.

Echo Park Patch got in touch with local director Ted Newsome, who put the Warpaint ladies in the deep end for the shoot. Newsome explains why he chose to shoot at that particular pool: "I chose Echo Deep because it was indoors and we could have more control over the light. It was expensive to pull a permit and rent the location so most of my crew had to work for little or no pay.I am eternally grateful and plan to return the many favors."

When asked about what it meant to shoot locally, Newsome said: "Echo Park is home for my production company and most of our crew is from the eastside so it was great to shoot there and support the neighborhood."

Speaking of shooting Warpaint, LAist has enjoyed doing so for their live performances in L.A.
