It's been a while since we heard much from Jerry Seinfeld, who will go down in history for taking his sitcom off the air while it was still popular and people still liked him.

But it seems as though he's re-emerging, appearing last night on "The Tonight Show" to do nearly five whole minutes of stand-up comedy. His act might need a little fine-tuning -- it's not quite as sharp or witty as it once was -- but he's still the same old Jerry that we know and love.

The act centers on food, and the ways in which food is out to get us. "We blame ourselves" for the obesity crisis, he says, but in reality, food is to blame.

"Food is trying to get in is sneaky, tricky, cunning!" he says.
