Video: Jamie Foxx Mocks Bruce Jenner's Transition
The Kardashian-Jenner clan, the first family of reality TV, are an easy and mostly fair target for mockery—with exceptions. At least one of those exceptions might be lazy, transphobic jokes about Bruce Jenner's reported transition.
Last night Jamie Foxx went after the Olympic decathlete during the opening monologue of the iHeartRadio music awards. "We have some groundbreaking performances here too tonight. Bruce Jenner will be here doing some musical performances. He will be here doing a his and hers duet all by himself." In case there was any doubt about whether Foxx was going off-script, a photo of Bruce Jenner appeared on the screen behind him and he added: "Look, I'm just busting your balls...while I still can."
Well, it made Chris Brown laugh.
Jenner hasn't spoken yet about his transition or even spoken about which pronouns he'd like the wider world to use to speak about him, though he is planning to star in his own upcoming series about "his journey."
