Watch A Teaser For Bill Murray's Netflix Holiday Special

In more exciting Netflix news, Bill Murray has made an appearance today in a teaser for A Very Murray Christmas, which is expected to stream this December. While the holidays may seem like a long way off, we're still counting down the days until the release of the special, which is directed by Sofia Coppola.

Mr. Murray will play himself in the holiday "homage to the classic variety show", according to Rolling Stone, in which he worries that his show will be spoiled by a huge New York City snowstorm.

The teaser—which has a promising, gloomy Lost In Translation feel—features an antlered and suspender-ed Murray staring out of a Carlyle hotel window at the NYC skyline, where the show is said to take place. A bluesy, piano riff later, Murray turns to the camera, delivers a signature eyebrow raise and silent, resigned harumph, and meanders off into the darkness.

A Very Murray Christmas was co-written by Coppola, Murray and Mitch Glazer, who co-wrote Scrooged, another Murray holiday classic.
