Gurl Power: Billboard Vandals Love Katy Perry

Last week the billboard for Russell Brand's new TV show was cruelly vandalized with the message: "I WOULD RATHER WATCH THE KATY PERRY MOVIE."

This week one of our readers noted that yet another pro-Katy Perry message had showed up on a local billboard. The message "KATY, WILL YOU BE MY CALIFORNIA GURL??" is scrawled across the bottom of a billboard promoting the pop star's new 3D movie "Part of Me." (The signature is difficult to make out but it looks like the initials "AJL.")

It's not clear if it's the handiwork of the same vandal (or if we're being cynical, some savvy viral marketing). Here's the vandalized billboard in all its glory:
