TV Junkie: Workin' for the Weekend - Chloe on Conan, 'Network' on TCM; New SNL Tomorrow

A Word Or 55:
I'm Tivo-ing Mary Lynn Rajskub (Chloe from 24) on Conan tonight because it's the only new TV worth watching. Did you know Mary Lynn used to be David Cross' girlfriend? Did you know she's starring in a full-length comedy show at the Steve Allen Theater? Go see her Sunday, Apr. 15 @ 8:00pm, it's like $5 or $10 or something, pocket change.
Also, after losing an hour of my life to Notes From the Underbellly last night I feel just terrible for that cast. The show is just abysmal - the first 14 minutes was overloaded with all the jokes from the previews and it just went downhill from there. The fact that they're trying to pass off Jennifer Westfeldt as a 30 year old is annoying and actually crimps the plot - as there is probably more comedy and traction with the different pressures on whether or not someone a bit older should have a baby. I'm sorry but this show is gonna tank.

Saturday Night Live (NBC, 11:30 p.m.) Guest host Shia LaBeouf, hey 'LaBeouf' means 'the beef' in French, did you know that? Did you? I mean the irony is that this scrawny kid really isn't carrying around much beef, that's what's so funny, I mean, just look at him - ain't life grand, in that special special way? I'm extremely sleep deprived today. Oh, also, an overly-mascara'd Avril Lavigne will be performing. Thanks and have a great weekend. At approximately 8 p.m. tonight I'm going to pound one Irish Car Bomb and fall face first onto the bed hopefully not to wake until late morning Saturday. I say this because I know you care.
