TV Junkie: Thursday
Tonight comedy makes a huge return to the networks with the season premieres of "My Name Is Early", "Ugly Betty", "The Office", and "ER" (because that show's a joke).
Evidently the American people are turning to comedy for solace in these times of bad news according to the New York Post. "The Daily Show" scored its highest week of ratings ever last week with over 2 million viewers a night. Laughing at the pain is a way of coping.
Last chance to enter to win the house being built on DIY's "Blog Cabin" - is Tennessee a dry state, or is that Kentucky?
Tonight's TV Junkie plan: "My Name Is Earl"; "The Office"; "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia"; and Letterman (dude, check it, Paris Hilton is gonna hook up with Usain Bolt, I swears). Nothing but laughs for the funnyboy.
