Get learned-up with PBS tonight. Sarah's also on (thump-thumpa :-)), and late night TV is strong tonight.

8:00pm Wired Science PBS/KCET - This is a cool show. While I'm not enamored of the bizarre enormous set that the hosts saunter through, each of the pieces are very well done. In particular, tonight check out the "ball busters" segment which is about the testing and certification of baseballs for MLB. TV Junkie 8:00pm Pick

8:00pm Pushing Daisies ABC - If you can't handle the sounds of science, then this is a good alternative.

9:00pm Gossip Girl CW - Some people (already) love this show, and since it's obtusely internet-related I guess I'll have to give it this one push. As an old curmudgeon, I just can't get into it though.

10:30pm The Sarah Silverman Program COMEDYCENTRAL - Sarah licks her dog's ass. Are you coming on to me Sarah? TV Junkie Pick-O-the-Night

11:00pm The Daily Show With Jon Stewart COMEDYCENTRAL - Jake Gyllenhaal

11:30pm The Late Show With David Letterman CBS - Rebecca Romijn (yes!), Jimmie "J.J." Walker (yes!!!!), LeAnn Rimes performs

12:05pm Jimmy Kimmel LIVE ABC - Angie Harmon, Scott Foley, Chromeo performs!

12:35am Late Night With Conan O'Brien NBC - Anthony Hopkins, Joe Buck (tonypierce's favorite), Mute Math performs
