TV Junkie: Red Carpet Interviews at the 2009 Primetime Emmys
The TV Junkie survived the 100+ F temps of the downtown concrete furnace to bring you these video interviews with actors, producers, writers, comedians and reality show performers. We've divided up our footage into comedy, drama, and reality television segments.
Our comedy category video includes our interviews with John Oliver of "The Daily Show", Judah Friedlander of "30 Rock", B.J. Novak of "The Office", Mike Henry of "Family Guy", Chris Hardwick of "Web Soup", and Alexander Gould of "Weeds".
The drama category is well represented in these clips of conversations with Anastasia Griffith of "Damages" and "Trauma", Kathryn Joosten of "Desperate Housewives" and "The West Wing", Albert Maysles, Lucy Barzun & Rachael Horowitz, the 2009 Emmy-winning producers of "Grey Gardens"; David Zayas of "Dexter", Terry O'Quinn of "Lost", and Tony Shalhoub of "Monk".
We had red carpet interviews with several reality television producers and performers: Elise Doganieri and Bertram van Munster, the producers of "The Amazing Race" (who won their 7th consecutive Emmy lat night), Kynt and Vyxsin of "The Amazing Race", designers Johnny Sakalis and Korto Momolu of "Project Runway", and "Top Chef" judge Gail Simmons.
