TV Junkie: The Prez on Leno; 'Behind the Music' Returns?

The big news for TV and for LA is that President Barack Obama will be a guest tonight on "The Tonight Show" - we know what we'll be watching at 11:35pm (sorry Colbert).

The Hollywood Reporter says that VH1 is bringing back "Behind the Music" and have already signed on Lil Wayne and Scott Weiland to be part of the documentary series. We're conflicted as we've always enjoyed parodying the show since it stopped airing 3 years ago but now it'll be back with some current content so we don't think our party trick will go over as well anymore. That is, if people actually end up watching the new season.

News from Renewals Land: CBS will bring back "Two and a Half Men", and the "The Big Bang Theory"; National Geographic renews "Dog Whisperer"; and Eric McCormack will take the lead in an ABC pilot which has raised speculation that his TNT series, "Trust Me", will not be renewed. Dear LAist readers, any feedback on these renewals? What other shows deserve renewals/the axe?

The TV Junkie Plan: "The Chris Isaak Hour", "SoCal Connected", "The Office", "30 Rock", "The Daily Show", Leno, Fallon
