TV Junkie: The Premiere of Demetri Martin's 'Important Things With Demetri Martin'

Demetri Martin

Last week we went to a sneak preview of Demetri Martin's new show on Comedy Central, "Important Things With Demetri Martin", which premiere's tonight at 10:30pm. The show has been in the works since last Spring so we are happy to see it make it on air.

Fans of Demetri Martin who have been limited to watching his specials rerun on Comedy Central, a few appearances on late night television, and a great cameo in last season's "Flight of the Conchords" will be elated with "Important Things". The show is an eclectic mish mash of sketches, bizarre and random on location video bits, and Martin's now iconic "presentations". There's enough of a mix for even those not-yet-enamored with Martin to give him a chance or two.
