TV Junkie: Season Finale of 'Justified' + A Shot of Moonshine
To commemorate tonight's season finale of FX's "Justified" we thought we'd link you to our coverage of the series so far this season. Watch our interview (above) with Joelle Carter who plays Ava Crowder; also check out our interview with Walton Goggins aka Boyd Crowder; and our brief chat with series star and executive producer Timothy Olyphant aka Raylan Givens. For more Timothy Olyphant, listen tohis interview with Elvis Mitchell on KCRW's "The Treatment" which just went live today.
At the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival, we spoke with veteran actor Stephen Root (below) who had a several episode arc on "Justified" (and we hope to see him on the show next season!) - he spoke glowingly of Margo Martindale's incredible performances on the show. We'd also like to applaud Jeremy Davies (formerly of "Lost") who has been a revelation as Dickie Bennett but we have every expectation that he won't survive tonight's finale. "Justified" is a great show that made the necessary adjustments halfway through last season to reach today's greatness, congrats to FX for remaining loyal to what was a good idea. We'll be settling in for tonight's viewing with a chilled mason jar and a bottle of Woodford Reserve Kentucky bourbon. Cheers!
