TV Junkie: The #s on Premium Cable's Sunday Premieres; New Office/30 Rock/Treasure Quest Tonight

For those of you that watched the 2-hour premiere of "Lost" last night, are you enjoying that old familiar feeling of not knowing what the hell is going on?
Speaking of watching premieres, The Hollywood Reporter reports that Showtime's "The United States of Tara" debuted with more viewers than the series premieres of "Weeds", "Californication", and "Dexter". It has to be said that Showtime did a great job promoting "Tara":we saw ads on several of the Big 3 networks, on cable, newspaper ads, and web banner ads all over the place.
HBO had less rosy results for their season premieres of "Big Love" and "Flight of the Conchords", both down around 50% from their last premieres.
Hey advertisers, Tivo can be very good to you if you happen to be advertising theatrical film releases. This is probably one of many reasons why the Oscars broadcast will now be allowing ads for movies.
