Weekend Edition

Tonight is the season finale of NBC's "School Pride" at 8pm. It could be the series finale as well due to tough Friday night viewing habits and the very recent death of executive producer Denise Cramsey
We hope you had a great Thanksgiving - we have enough leftover turkey to induce another L Tryptophan coma this evening which will make "The Soup" and "Fashion Police" even more surreal. Before we trip away, we'd like to watch some of NBC's "School Pride" at 8pm. This great show about bringing volunteers and sponsors together to renovate and upgrade schools had Emmy-Winning Denise Cramsey as executive producer. Cramsey passed away on Tuesday after suffering a brain aneurism. This is a show that should be on TV - it's not "feel good" TV for the sake of it, this was a show that actually did something about a major problem this country is facing: lack of funding for our schools that is so severe that they are literally falling apart around the students. We hope NBC keeps it on the air to carry on the good idea that Cramsey helped bring to life.
Gifts for the TV Inclined: If you missed the Paley Center for Media's PaleyFest or InsideMedia meetups you can now get DVDs of select sessions for shows from "Battlestar Galactica" to "Friends", and "30 Rock" to "Entourage".The HBO store is having a Black Friday sale with plenty of deals on "True Blood", "Boardwalk Empire", and "Eastbound & Down" collectibles.

Similarly, NBC Universal is having a Black Friday sale with tons of stuff from "Chuck" and "The Office".
Fran Drescher's new talk show started airing today at 2pm on KTTV Fox. Check out our interview with Fran and let us know if you watched the show.
There's not much new TV on this weekend and we're frankly disappointed with the movies available on TCM, IFC, and Sundance + the premium networks. As a result, we don't think there's anything worth watching on Saturday. If you've got some suggestions of what to watch on Saturday night, other than sporting events, please let us know here.
The TV Junkie Must-Watch Plan: Tonight - "TV's Funniest Holiday Moments: A Paley Center for Media Special", "The Soup", "Fashion Police". Saturday - Go out and have some one. Sunday - "Dexter", "The Walking Dead"
