Thanksgiving Edition

We're very sad to report that Denise Cramsey, the multi-Emmy winning producer whom we interviewed (above) about her most current project, "School Pride" (NBC, Friday's @ 8pm), passed away from a brain aneurism last night at the age of 41. She won her Emmys in 2007 and 2008 for "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" (ABC). NBC's "School Pride," a show based on community makeovers of struggling schools, has fixed up several schools in Los Angeles and Southern California so far this season (see our write-up here).

We extend our condolences to Denise's friends and family.
Be sure to check out our interview with Fran Drescher whose new talk show debuts in LA on Friday afternoon at 2pm on KTTV Fox.
Please check out our picks below for tonight and Thanksgiving Day/Night. Tonight there will be some kids-oriented holiday fare on NBC, then another great episode of "Modern Family", and a truly stellar don't-miss "Terriers" on FX at 10pm, in late night we're hoping that Bob Saget gets very weird on Conan's show. Tomorrow, how could one miss The Macy's Thanksgiving Parade followed by the National Dog Show. Check our listings for a selection of the countless show marathons happening tomorrow. What we're most looking forward to tomorrow night is Discovery's "Punkin' Chunkin' 2010" which will feature a collection of bizarre and dangerous-looking devices designed to fling pumpkins the lengths of several football fields (see the promo vid at the end of this post).
