Last week we saw some NBC-bashing regarding their Thursday night lineup, tweets and posts to the effect that their shows, particularly "30 Rock" and "The Office" are tired and need to be taken off the air. Funny enough, their new show, "Outsourced", which has been critically ignored (ourselves included), did secure a decent sized audience on its debut. Let's see if that holds tonight. What do you think about these shows?"Community" - We're solid fans and think that a cast that has Chevy Chase as its weakest link is something to contend with. Creator Dan Harmon is a genius who makes every episode stand on its own.

"30 Rock" - Is there anything funnier at 8:30pm on a Thursday? Tell us. The fast pace keeps us going and we think the Academy should just give Alec Baldwin his own special Emmy every year.

"The Office" - The show that's like a pair of old and comfortable shoes. The music intro in the premiere was invigorating but we wonder if there's still life enough in this paper company.

"Outsourced" - We didn't care for this show because of the writing and acting, not because of the subject matter. It's still a treat to see Diedrich Bader but we don't think it has much else going for it. Disagree?
Speaking of NBC, Mindy Kaling aka Kelly Kapoor and her compatriots from "The Office" have a new project along the lines of last season's very funny "Subtle Sexuality", it's called "The 3rd Floor". The web series begins on October 21st, but you can see a preview clip at the end of this post.

If you're a fan of Syfy's "Caprica" you'll be psyched about the season 1 DVD release on October 5th. We've got a promo clip at the end of this post for you to check out.
"South Park" Fans: Tomorrow I am giving away "A Little Box of Butters" DVD set. Inside the box is are 2 DVDs of 13 widescreen remastered episodes plus a trivia game, "The Poop That Took A Pee" lost chapter, a What Would Butters Do? bracelet, a pimpin' necklace, a wearable Inspector Butters badge, and more. The DVD was released today and is available for purchase (if you don't win it from me) - if you follow that link you can also enter an actual "South Park" contest for $5,000 in pimp cash and other prizes.

For a chance to win, follow TheTVJunkie on Twitter where I will be posting contest updates and answer in the comments below, the question: Name one 'bad' thing that Professor Chaos did. A winner will be picked Friday afternoon.
