George Steinbrenner passed away today at age 80. Not only was Steinbrenner the owner of the New York Yankees, but he was also a bit of a media mogul, creating the YES (Yankees Entertainment and Sports) Network in 2002. YES not only shows the bulk of the Yankee games in the targeted demographic area, is also broadcasts original programs such as the Yankeeography interview shows, thus providing a comprehensive experience for Yankees fans everywhere - a model that most other franchises can only dream about. George Costanza must be shattered.
