"Louis" premieres on FX at 11pm tonight - it's the must-watch show of the evening.
Louis C.K.'s "Louie" premieres at 11pm on FX tonight and the show eclipses any other offerings at that hour. If you've been fortunate enough to see C.K.'s stand-up act or his short-lived HBO show, "Lucky Louie", you know that he is one incredibly talented performer and creator. The Emmy-award winner is getting another chance to do his thing on FX and it just might work out: the network has been committed to providing edgy shows both in drama and comedy. The show follows C.K. as a newly-single New York-based stand-up comedian with two daughters - and it sounds suspiciously similar to C.K.'s real life which is what his entire (hilarious) stand-up act is about.FX is putting the show on at 11pm which will probably mean even more risque material which C.K. is a master at delivering - he relates some of the real-life thoughts that go through just about anybody's head, thoughts that most of us try to repress but that C.K. revels in relating to us. This is going to be a great show - we're so glad C.K. has found a home.

We interviewed Thu Tran, creator and host of IFC's "Food Party" at the NYC premiere event back in April and last week she sent us a very kind note about our interview and reminded us that the season finale of "Food Party" is tonight at 10pm - see her note and the piece of the "Food Party" set that she sent to us in the video at the end of this post. We've seen the finale(s) tonight - one is a blooper reel and the other is Thu battling an evil sister and step-mother and they're both extremely funny and brilliantly surreal.
