On this Earth Day: Variety has a story about how studios are attempting to become more environmentally responsible (the efforts seem a little week IMHO); from 6-10pm the Disney Channel will feature environment-focused episodes of "Phineas and Ferb," "Hannah Montana," "The Suite Life on Deck," "Wizards of Waverly Place" and the film Minutemen; of course, you could just turn on Planet Green for the evening and/or kill your television because "turn off your TV week" started 2 days ago.
"South Park" creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are in hot water with Moslem radicals after the airing of last week's episode that depicted the prophet Mohammed in a bear suit. Web postings suggested that radicals know where Parker and Stone live in case they were interested in tracking them down. Compared to some other episodes of "South Park", that one was pretty tame so it's interesting that this would garner that kind of attention and implications of violence.
The TV Junkie Plan: "How to Save the Planet", "Attack of the Show", "Community", "30 Rock", "The Office", "30 Rock", "The Daily Show" (Zoe Saldana), "The Colbert Report" (Gorillaz!!), Ferguson (Busy Philipps)
