We're psyched to see that "Ugly Americans" has been picked up for at least 7 more episodes starting this fall. Check out the promo clip at the end of this post for a peek at tonight's Twilight parody - also check out our interview with the creators.
It's finally over, Kate Gosselin was voted off of "Dancing With The Stars" and now life can go on. She was actually very approachable while on Kimmel last night as compared to her stiff appearances on "E! News" earlier in the week so without the struggle (as Patrick Warburton referred to in our interview) she seems to be a nicer person. Also on Kimmel was a great performance by DEVO! If you want more of that, check out the video we shot of them at the Vancouver Olympics or the embed at the end of this post.
New Show News: TV Land has greenlit a new George Segal series called "Retired at 35" which will broadcast Q1 of 2011; the History Channel will launch a US version of the BBC's "Top Gear" this fall to be hosted by comedian Adam Ferrara, stunt driver Tanner Foust and racing analyst Rutledge Wood; and on a pseudo-related note, we're happy to see that Stephen Colbert will be running "The Colbert Report" on Comedy Central until the end of 2012 and Jon Stewart will be on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" until at least June of 2013.
The Screen Actors Guild has set the date for their awards show, one of our favorites because it's actors nominating and voting for their peers: the 17th Annual SAG Awards will be on January 30th, 2011. We hope to be selected to be among the few to report to you live from the red carpet for our 3rd year in a row.
The TV Junkie Plan: "Attack of the Show", "Web Soup", "P.O.V.: Food Inc.", "South Park", "Ugly Americans", "Chelsea Lately", "The Colbert Report", Kimmel (Rob Zombie!)
