The consensus is that last night's episode of "Lost" was excellent and we agree that the focus on Henry Ian Cusick's Desmond Hume was very compelling. The "SouthLAnd" season finale was very very good, we hope that TNT makes the right decision and brings the show back - be sure to check out yesterday's interview with series star Ben McKenzie.
Book Soup announced that they've put together "No Reservations: An Evening with Anthony Bourdain" which will be held on June 16th at UCLA's Royce Hall. Pre-sale tickets are available now until midnight tomorrow, password code: CULINARY.
TV & movie mogul Tyler Perry just did a DJ set at our own KCRW.
Congrats to our friends at KCET: Last week their show, "SoCal Connected", won a Peabody and today the show's producers announced that they've won the coveted Edward R. Murrow Award for hard news in the western region for correspondent Lisa Ling's report "The Young & Uninsured."
The new Doctor Who is coming! We'll be interviewing cast from the show next week, but in the meantime, enjoy the trailer at the end of this post.
The TV Junkie Plan: "Attack of the Show", "The Buddha", "South Park", "Ugly Americans", "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart" (Steve Carell), Kimmel (Luke Wilson, PiL)
