"V" returns tonight at 10pm on ABC

"V" returns tonight at 10pm on ABC
Just when we were getting into a set weekly schedule everything gets tossed around and tonight is no exception with the return of "V" on ABC at 10pm. We've heard that the show does push some extremes in the 10pm slot which is reassuring as we didn't want another milquetoasty prime time show. Fortunately we'll be able to catch "Southland" and "Justified" on repeat later in the evening.
Today WE tv released its upcoming slate of programming which includes: a reality show about seniors in their Disneyland-like retirement complex in Arizona called "Sunset Daze" which begins airing on April 28th; and another reality series that will begin airing before the end of 2010 called "Mother Knows Best?" about Joan Rivers moving into her daughter Melissa's house and turning her life topsy-turvy. Among other series aquisitions, those who won't be getting enough Alyssa Milano from her new show, "Romantically Chellenged" (starting April 12th on ABC), will be able to watch back-to-back episodes of "Charmed" on WE starting on June 21st.---
Variety has a great interview with Kiefer Sutherland about how he's going to wrap up "24". When asked if he would do TV again, Sutherland replied "Absolutely. My experience was phenomenal. It's really the home of the drama."
Our friend Ed Begley Jr. will help conduct a Q&A after the screening of the film>What's On Your Plate? at the Hammer Museum this Thursday, April 1st, at 7pm. If you didn't see What's On Your Plate? on Planet Green when we highlighted it back in February, here is your chance to see this great movie and ask questions of the film's creators. the now teen-aged Sadie and Safiyah who did the movie when they were 11-years-old. This film is not just for kids/teenagers - it asks and answers many questions about where we get our food from, particularly in an urban setting.
The Hollywood Reporter has a great summary of what pilots are in process: Rockford Files" and "Hawaii Five-O" are on the plate and Conan O'Brien's production company will have a pilot produced for NBC.
We've got a couple promo embeds at the end of the post: The final season of "The Hills" has an extended promo and the amazing and incredible "LIFE" from Discovery is giving us some sneak peeks.
