Our work over the last few days is curiously jibing with tonight's broadcasts as we have the return of "Gossip Girl" (check out our interview with series regular Desmond Harrington at PaleyFest) as well as, somehow, back from the dead, NBC's "Trauma" (check out our Emmys interview with series star Anastasia Griffith). There's a new episode of ABC Family's "Secret Life of the American Teenager" (see our PaleyFest interview with series star Brando Eaton)
Last night's broadcast of the Oscars had the most viewership since 2005 which is in line with the popularity of most of the awards shows this year. We were shocked that Farrah Fawcett was not included in this year's "death montage" - true, she was honored specifically at the Emmys but it was a mistake to ignore her work in film which is where she ultimately proved herself worthy of recognition.
Don't forget to check out our PaleyFest reports from last week: "Community", "Dexter", and "The Vampire Diaries" as well as our Independent Spirit Awards summary. Within the hour we will have a red carpet report from the E! Oscars After Party posted.
The TV Junkie Plan: @aots, "Secret Diary of a Call Girl", "Tracey Ullman's State of the Union", "24", "Damages", "Chelsea Lately" (Kevin McKidd), The Colbert Report (Tom Hanks).
