Weekend Edition

Please check out our coverage of last night's PaleyFest2010 tribute to Showtime's "Dexter". A great night for a great show.
We will be reporting live from the Independent Spirit Awards this evening with photos and video to be posted this weekend. You can watch the official UStream red carpet feed starting at 5pm before the live broadcast begins at 8pm on IFC. Follow theTV Junkie on Twitter and check back here often.
Tonight its all about the Independent Spirit Awards followed by the spoofingly nasty "The Soup Awards" on E!. Saturday, it appears that the Style Network has a bunch of season finales but whoa hey, it's not a Republican conspiracy, yes, that is President Barack Obama on "America's Most Wanted"..... paying tribute to their 1000th episode.

The comedy brilliance of Zach Galifianakis should keep the SNL crew on their toes along with what promises to be a milquetoast performance by Vampire Weekend. Sunday = Oscars followed by the season finale to "Big Love" which has just been insane for the second half of its season. Have a great weekend everybody.
The TV Junkie Plan: Tonight - Bill Maher, 2010 Independent Spirit Awards, "The Soup Awards", Letterman, Fallon. Saturday - "Magic & Bird: A Courtship of Rival", "The Dish", SNL (Zach Galifianakis & Vampire Weekend). Sunday - Oscars, "Big Love", "How To Make It In America"
