To prepare us for his upcoming takeover of NBC's "Late Night", Jimmy Fallon will be posting vlog entries at at 12:30am ET.

While we are psyched by some premieres and finales tonight (see The TV Junkie Plan) we're also viewing Rob Corddry's (formerly of "The Daily Show") hilarious new web program for, "Children's Hospital" (pictured, right). The show featuring a cast that includes Rob Huebel (“Human Giant,” “The Awful Truth”), Jason Sudeikis (“Saturday Night Live”), David Wain (“The State,” “Wainy Days”), Nathan Corddry (“Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip,” “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart”), Ed Helms (“The Office”), and two-time Emmy winner Megan Mullally, premieres today on and all 10 episodes are available for viewing.

We've highlighted several articles in the past couple weeks about NBC (and other networks) laying staff off or removing new programming from their mix and now it looks like NBC is going to double-down on their moves to reduce cost by cutting back on programming. We're not so sure this is going to work for them because in this day of the Internets where choice is King, offering viewers less options without any upside doesn't seem like much of a plan for success. Perhaps if the combination was "less programming but the retained programming will be higher quality" would be more palatable.
