As the movie industry gears up for its Christmas week viewing largess, TV is in the throes of various hype machines: Avatar is still going strong (see tonight's "Attack of the Show" and Ferguson), Sherlock Holmes still has another week of serious junket to go (see tonight's Letterman), and Hugh Grant and Sarah Jessica Parker are still hitting everyone up to go see Did You Hear About the Morgans?, a film that appears to be pure dreck and tellingly, on last night's Fallon, Parker talked up the upcoming sequel to Sex and the City more than the film she's supposed to be out publicizing.
